Important Legal Disclaimer
JusticeXpress, Inc. (“JusticeXpress,” “we,” “our,” or “us”)
operates justicexpressflorida.com as a Florida-focused
self-help legal information and document preparation platform.
Please read this disclaimer carefully before purchasing any form,
requesting any service, or relying on any information found on this site.
1. We Are Not a Law Firm and We Are Not Your Attorney
JusticeXpress, Inc. is not a law firm. Its owners, officers,
employees, contractors, and document preparers are not attorneys
licensed to practice law in Florida or any other state, and we do not
act as substitutes for the advice of a licensed attorney. Your use of this
website, purchase of any product, or engagement of any service offered by
JusticeXpress does not create an attorney-client relationship
between you and JusticeXpress or any person associated with it.
2. No Legal Advice
All content on this website — including articles, guides, FAQs,
glossaries, comparison tables, blog posts, instructions, and any
accompanying communications — is provided for general legal
information only and is not legal advice. Legal information is not
the same as legal advice. Only a Florida-licensed attorney who has reviewed
the specific facts of your matter can advise you on how the law applies to
your situation, what remedies may be available to you, or what strategy you
should pursue.
3. Florida Document Preparation Scope — What We Can and Cannot Do
Consistent with Rule 10-2.1 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar and
related Florida Supreme Court authority governing non-lawyer assistance,
our document preparation and review services are strictly limited as
follows:
We CAN:
- Provide blank fillable forms, including Florida Supreme Court Approved Forms where applicable, for you to complete.
- Type or prepare forms based on the factual information you provide and the form you select.
- Review completed forms that you have filled out to check for clerical completeness, missing fields, internal inconsistency, and obvious typographical errors.
- Provide general procedural and filing logistics information (such as which clerk’s office accepts filings, current Florida filing fees, ePortal submission steps, and service-of-process basics).
- Provide published, general legal information about Florida law and procedure.
We CANNOT:
- Give you legal advice or an opinion on your case.
- Tell you which form to choose or which legal remedy, claim, or defense to pursue.
- Tell you what to write in any field of any form, beyond what is requested by the form itself.
- Interpret a statute, rule, regulation, court order, or court ruling for you.
- Make legal strategy decisions for you or predict the outcome of any matter.
- Represent you, appear for you, or advocate on your behalf in any court, tribunal, mediation, hearing, or administrative proceeding.
- Negotiate on your behalf with another party, another party’s attorney, a court, an insurer, or any government agency.
4. Forms Are Provided “As Is”
Forms made available through this website are provided on an “as is”
and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or
implied. While we make reasonable efforts to keep forms current with
Florida law and court requirements, statutes, rules, local procedures, and
judicial preferences change. We do not guarantee that any form, when
completed and filed, will be accepted by any court, clerk, agency, or
counterparty, or that the use of any form will achieve any particular legal
or factual result. You are solely responsible for confirming that
a chosen form is appropriate for your situation and for the accuracy of all
information you enter.
5. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, JusticeXpress, Inc.
disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to
implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose,
accuracy, and non-infringement. In no event shall JusticeXpress, its
officers, owners, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any
indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive
damages arising out of or relating to your use of this website, any form,
or any service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Communications Are Not Privileged
Because no attorney-client relationship is formed, communications between
you and JusticeXpress — including emails, chat messages, intake forms,
document uploads, and phone conversations — are not protected
by the attorney-client privilege or attorney work-product doctrine.
Do not send us information you wish to remain privileged.
7. You Should Consider Consulting a Licensed Florida Attorney
If your matter involves significant rights, property, liberty, custody,
contested issues, an opposing party who is represented by counsel, an
approaching deadline, or any factor that makes you uncertain how to
proceed, you are strongly encouraged to consult a Florida-licensed
attorney. Referral resources include The Florida Bar Lawyer Referral
Service, your local circuit’s lawyer referral service, and, for
income-qualifying individuals, your local legal aid organization.
8. Jurisdictional Scope
Information, forms, and services offered on justicexpressflorida.com
are intended for use in matters governed by the laws of the State of
Florida and the rules of Florida courts. They are not designed for,
and should not be used in, proceedings governed by the law of any other
state, the federal courts, or any foreign jurisdiction.
9. Acknowledgment
By purchasing any form, requesting any document preparation or review
service, or otherwise using this website, you acknowledge that you have
read, understood, and agreed to this Disclaimer, and that you understand
JusticeXpress, Inc. is a non-lawyer service provider whose role is limited
as set forth above.
